Gil West has served as the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors since April 2024. He is focused on building on Hertz’s extraordinary family of brands, deepening its commitment to service and operational excellence, and executing strategic initiatives that further position Hertz as a global mobility leader.

Before joining Hertz, West served as Chief Operating Officer of Cruise, General Motors’ majority-owned, autonomous vehicle subsidiary. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2024, he was Chief Operating Officer at Delta Air Lines, overseeing worldwide operations and more than 70,000 employees, along with the company’s subsidiary businesses. Under his direction, Delta Air Lines achieved industry-leading customer service performance and delivered record earnings within the industry. West held various leadership positions at Delta Air Lines from 2008 to 2014, following his tenure, from 2006 to 2007, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Laidlaw Transit Services, a provider of transportation services.

West serves on the board of Virgin Galactic Holdings. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from National University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Frank Blake has served as a member of the Board of Directors since August 2024. Blake was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Home Depot from January 2007 through November 2014 and then Chairman through February 2015; he joined The Home Depot in 2002 as Executive Vice President – Business Development and Corporate Operations. In addition, Blake previously served as the Deputy Secretary of the United States Department of Energy, in a series of executive positions at General Electric and as the General Counsel of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Blake also served as Deputy Counsel to Vice President George H. W. Bush and clerked on the United States Supreme Court for Justice John Paul Stevens. Previously, he served on the boards of public companies Delta Air Lines (serving as non-executive Chairman), Macy’s, The Home Depot, Procter & Gamble and The Southern Company, as well as on the board of the Georgia Aquarium, a non-profit organization. Blake currently serves on the board of UNIFI.

Lucy Clark Dougherty has served as a member of the Board of Directors since August 2024. Clark Dougherty has been Senior Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary of Polaris since June 2019. From January 2018 until June 2019, she served as Senior Vice President – General Counsel, Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary of Polaris. Prior to joining Polaris, Clark Dougherty held multiple leadership roles at General Motors, including Deputy General Counsel – Global Markets, Autonomous Vehicles and Transportation as a Service; Deputy General Counsel – Commercial, Product Safety and Regulatory; and Vice President and General Counsel – General Motors North America, Chief Legal Advisor – Global Vehicle Safety. Clark Dougherty also held positions with the United States Department of Homeland Security, serving as Chief Legal Officer and as Counselor to the Secretary of Homeland Security. In addition, she worked for the Executive Office of the President and for the United States Department of Justice. Clark Dougherty currently serves as the President of the Polaris Foundation.

Colin Farmer has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2021 and currently serves as Chair of the Board. Farmer is Senior Managing Director at Certares. He is also Head of the Certares Management Committee and a member of the Certares Investment Committee. Previously, he was Managing Director of One Equity Partners. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Harvest Partners, a middle market private equity firm, and an Analyst at Robertson Stephens & Company, a middle market investment bank. Farmer serves on the boards of Internova Travel Group, AmaWaterways, Guardian Alarm, Mystic Invest and Certares Holdings.

Jennifer Feikin is a member of the Board of Directors on the mutual fund boards of American Funds Fixed Income, American Funds Insurance Series, American Funds Fund of Funds and Capital Group Exchange Traded Funds. Prior to being a mutual fund director, Feikin led the Google Video content team and negotiated many of Google’s first and largest search and advertising deals. Before joining Google, she was a part of AOL Time Warner's strategic development group, worked in business affairs at Twentieth Century Fox, Fox Searchlight and Morgan Creek Productions and served as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where she began her career. Feikin currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy of Utah.

Mark Fields has served as a Director of Hertz since June 2021 and was interim CEO from October 2021 to February 2022. Fields also serves as Senior Advisor at TPG Capital LP. He was previously President and CEO of Ford Motor Company and held senior leadership roles at the company, including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President & President of the Americas, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Automotive Group and Ford Europe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Automotive Group, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Mazda Motor Corporation. He serves as a Director of Qualcomm, Lam Research, Lead Independent Director of Tanium, a Director of TPG Pace Solutions Corp., and a Director of TPG Pace Beneficial II Corp. He has previously served on the Boards of Ford, IBM and Mazda.

Vincent J. Intrieri has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2014. Intrieri is Chief Executive Officer and founder of VDA Capital Management LLC, a private investment fund founded in 2017. From 1998 to 2016, he was employed, in various investment-related capacities, by Carl C. Icahn-related entities; he most recently served as Senior Managing Director of Icahn Capital LP, Icahn Onshore LP and Icahn Offshore LP. Prior to joining Icahn Capital LP, Intrieri was a partner at Arthur Andersen. He currently serves as Chairman of the board of Sandridge Energy and as a director of Transocean Limited. Previously, Intrieri served as a director of Energen Corporation, Conduent Incorporated, Chesapeake Energy, Forest Laboratories, CVR Energy, Federal-Mogul Corporation, Navistar International and various other public companies.

Michael Gregory (Greg) O’Hara is the Founder and a Senior Managing Director of Certares Management LLC. Prior to forming Certares, he served as Chief Investment Officer of JPMorgan Chase’s Special Investments Group (“JPM SIG”). Prior to JPM SIG, O’Hara was a Managing Director of One Equity Partners (“OEP”), the private equity arm of JPMorgan. Before joining OEP in 2005, he served as Executive Vice President of Worldspan and was a member of its Board of Directors. O’Hara is the Chairman of American Express Global Business Travel and the Chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, and serves on the Boards of Directors of TripAdvisor, Certares Holdings, where he is the Head of the Investment Committee and is a member of the Management Committee of Certares Management LLC, CK Opportunities Fund, where he is a member of the Investment Committee and the Management Committee, and Certares Real Estate Holdings, where he is a member of the Investment Committee and the Management Committee.

Andrew Shannahan is Head of Research and Partner at Knighthead Capital Management, LLC, an event driven and deep value focused SEC registered investment advisor that specializes in investing in companies that need financial and operational restructuring. Shannahan brings oversight to the Knighthead research team through his investment expertise gained during thirteen years at Knighthead, leading complex investment situations. Prior to joining Knighthead in 2008, he spent six years as a senior research analyst for Litespeed Partners, an event-driven hedge fund. Shannahan serves on the Board of ATI Physical Therapy, Inc., and is a member of the Investment Committee of certain funds managed by Knighthead Capital Management, LLC.

Thomas (Tom) Wagner is Vice Chair of the board; Co-Founder and Managing Member of Knighthead Capital Management, LLC, an event driven and deep value focused SEC registered investment advisor that specializes in investing in companies that need financial and operational restructuring. His deep financial experience also includes serving as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in Capital Structure Franchise Trading, as well as roles at Credit Suisse First Boston and Ernst & Young, LLP. Wagner is currently Board Chairman of Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company and on the Board of Trustees of Villanova University, the National Advisory Board for Youth Inc., and the National Leadership Council for the Navy SEAL Foundation. He is the Co-Portfolio Manager of all funds and accounts managed by Knighthead Capital Management, LLC.

Evangeline Vougessis is the Co-Founder and CEO of Moneikos Global Asset Management in Monaco and the co-founder of MaxInvest Holdings, a single-family office that invests in startups and early-stage companies. She previously served as Investor Relations and Strategy Director at Marfin Popular Bank Group as well as Marfin Investment Group, a multi-billion pan-European investment company headquartered in Greece, where she raised millions in capital. Vougessis was also recognized as the Best IR Manager in Greece for her position as Investor Relations Manager at Commercial Bank of Greece, a subsidiary of Credit Agricole Bank of France. She started her career as a research analyst in ABN AMRO Equities London, a subsidiary of ABN AMRO BANK Group.
